Motorola Licenses Activesync Technology for its Smartphones

Though Motorola has been delivering synchronization with Exchange using Activesync technology for its MPx220 Smartphones based on Microsoft's Smartphone OS, Motorola now lincensed Activesync technology for use in its Linux based A780 mobile phones.

This follows PalmOne's licensing of Activesync technology and just might prove to be the new trend for cellular PDA manufacturers in the attempt to provide better corporate messaging services that will compete with RIM's Blackberry offering.
