What this hints for customers is that E12 will be feature rich. The move DVD media is required because E12 will contain the new Edge Services and unified messaging components that will take up more room. Microsoft sources say that E12 will NOT be available on a few CDs or as CD ISO images on DVD. This complements the availability of the future Longhorn operating system on DVD only.
