This is definitely a product that needs to get be reviewed by the Techies and the CFO''s/CIO''s as well as HR. I virtually made redundant the Dell/EMC SAN I installed about 7 years ago that cost us hundreds of thousands of pounds to buy initially and 10''s of thousands every 12 months in the costing review with my boss increasing storage units (I do love the SAN though), as all the old mailboxes are stored away from site now with Sonian, but accessible easier than logging onto the mailbox individually (yes I am a sysadmin that keeps everything - just as well) <BR><BR>This is a really simple solution that works really well. I had no clients to install anywhere, If I want the end users to access the service, I give them a url and their password is emailed to them (like control that way rather than give everyone access straight away) All management is web based, so I can work from home without needing to VPN in all the time when dealing with our companies legal/reviewing requests.<BR><BR>Love the ability to export in multiple different guises as well.<BR><BR>Support side of things, have not really had a huge amount of involvement with support, it seems to just work, and always available. I did deal with them on setup initially and had a couple of ''familiarity questions'' on first use, but like it said, it is simple to use!<BR><BR>You need to consider this archive storingsoluton

We trialled several archiving products including the big names in the industry, looking at both hosted and on-premise solutions.

Sonian may not be so well known (yet!) but they have a fantastic infrastructure behind their product (Amazon AWS Cloud Computing) and a great product which required only 5 minutes of configuration on Exchange to setup. Unlimited storage, which is something I'd be wary of without the backing of AWS to ensure scalability is readily available.

We worked with EPA - one of Sonian's UK partners and got fantastic pre and post sales support.
