Autonomy ZANTAZ EAS On-Demand™ is the first and only solution in the market that combines the ability to archive for mailbox management, file archiving, compliance and litigation readiness, with the ability to support both onsite and hosted storage options. EAS On-Demand solves your mailbox management and email retention problems by leveraging the best of on-site storage with all the benefits of the Digital Safe hosted solution. The user transparent email and file archiving solution optimizes the performance of your email and file servers, eliminates PST headaches, and significantly increases end-user productivity by eliminating mailbox quotas and improving end-user access to knowledge assets.
The IDOL-enabled mailbox client and archive platform work seamlessly across more than 1,000 content types and over 100 languages. Utilizing the IDOL capabilities to identify duplicates and near duplicates, EAS On-Demand reduces storage costs by 50 to 80 percent. Storage of duplicate messages is eliminated in a process known as Single Instance Storage (SIS). Each unique message and file is analyzed, classified and assigned the appropriate retention period based on metadata, content or concepts, then stored on appropriate storage media - long-term compliant media or short-term SAN device. The result is a single repository optimized for efficient compliance monitoring, eDiscovery, records management and knowledge mining; all capabilities provided by the Autonomy ZANTAZ product family.
Additionally, with EAS On-Demand you can delegate the responsibility and costs associated with the deployment and administration of networks, infrastructure, storage and compliant hardware to a trusted third-party. Autonomy ZANTAZ has a well documented and tested Continuity of Business service for customers and as a part of the service maintains a backup copy on disc in a second physical location for rapid recovery in case of any unforseen circumstances at customer or archiving sites.
