Active Folders Content Manager is an application that searches the Exchange information stores (public and private) for content matching the search criteria set by the administrator. The message and attachments are searched by an NT / Win2k service that is installed on a dedicated server or installed on the Exchange server. All message criteria can be searched upon such as creation date, size of attachments and of course key words. The policies themselves are schedulable and can easily be set to search at times of low utilization.

Exchange 2000/2003 users often wish to forward e-mail sent to their Exchange mailboxes automatically to an external e-mail address (for example, user@yahoo.com). Using AD Users and Computers tool, the Exchange administrator can do that.
However, suppose that the Exchange administrator has to turn on/turn off these forwarding options several times a week for users who are sick or on holiday. Every time when administrator turns that off, the link between the internal user account and the external forwarding address just dropped. To re-establish it, administrator must select the associated external address from the list of Active Directory contacts. The CentralForwarder for MS Exchange 2000/2003 application is developed to solve this problem. Using the application, you can turn on/turn off e-mail forwarding with a single mouse click.

The eG monitor for Exchange uses either an agent-based or an agentless approach. Administrators can monitor various aspects of the Exchange server's performance including the instantaneous occupancy of the different Exchange server queues, the access patterns of users, and the interaction of the Exchange server with the Active Directory. eG Enterprise's layer model representation provides a way to correlate the application performance with network, CPU, memory, and disk performance, thereby allowing administrators to interpret where the performance bottlenecks may be. Data collected by the eG agents is stored in a relational database, so historical analysis and diagnosis can be performed to determine how the server can be reconfigured for optimal performance.
