Steelhead Appliances Listing updated: April 4, 2004

Steelhead appliances enable site consolidation of Exchange servers from remote offices to data centers, without giving up the performance your distributed end users need. Steelhead appliances help to centralize pre-2003 versions of Exchange (or if you have not deployed Outlook 2003 yet). Site consolidation improves your ability to ensure security and compliance, and help you simplify and reduce your administrative costs. Steelhead appliances can improve WAN throughput of Exchange by overcoming the issues inherent in running MAPI on high latency links, and optimize bandwidth consumption.
The product also optimizes all TCP traffic for added benefits of higher throughput for all applications running on WANs.
