Works reasonably well, but extremely expensive!
by Ary Theodore,
Product Rating: 3/5
- We've been using Mail marshal exchasnge for about 6 months now and I have noticed a difference in the amount of spam that has been reaching users inboxes. This product works as it should but its price tag is quite steep for the service that it offers. I’d reccommend it if you’ve got a huge IT budget but otherwise perhaps shopping around might be a good idea.

- Avoid it, it is expensive and it does not work. Ask any Web site host companies, they don't use it for filtering. If you want to create a full time job, Just to handle spam, this is the program for you.

- We purchased MailMarshal last Nov, and although it does have a high cost, the ROI is well worth it. we are blocking on avg 1700 spam emails a day for a company of 80.

License Cost
by Chris Tock,
- It appears now that Net-IQ have Mail Marshal the MINIMUM number of LIcenses that you can purchase is 75!!! This works out to be (With support) well over NZD$2000. Much to expensive for a small business.

Marshal Software rocks
by James Ingram,
- We sell and configure Mail Marshal to all our clients who require content filtering and virus scanning of email. It is an extremely powerful and intuitive package that blocks an extremely high percentage of spam/junk mail. There has been some amazing software come out of New Zealand; I just hope with the sale of Marshal Software to NetIQ, they keep up the high level of functionality and support with this awesome business tool. And a quick word to spammers - get a life...
