QS Disclaimer

Last Updated on 23 Aug. 2006, Company: Pa-software

E-mail disclaimers are a useful feature that can ensure communications from your company in electronic format are acknowledged to be confidential and are susceptible to corruption, interception and unauthorised amendment.

The QS Disclaimer service is implemented as an IIS SMTP service extension and will run on any machine that can run Microsoft IIS SMTP service 5 or greater. In addition, QS Disclaimer can be installed on a computer running Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003.

    What a great application

Installed it and no reboot was required.

Separate disclaimers can be created for plain text and html emails.

It was up and running within approx 10 minutes.

Right product at the right price!!!

A very simple but effective product

I installed this product and found it easy to setup and use. I love the option to use plain text for HTML and enriched, this saves quite a lot of hassle.

I was initially sceptical that this product would work with our volume of mail (over a 500 mailboxes), but it works flawlessly.

The only downside I could find was the lack of an option to restart IIS for you.

    Excellent Disclaimer

Best part is the fact that the cost is not per user but per domain.

    Randomly gets email addresses locked

Poor Software - gets random outbound email addresses lost in "queued for locally delivery" !!

    QS Disclaimer

Purchase + Download + Installation = 10 minutes. No reboot of the server was necessary. Interface is easy to use and updates are quick.

Other products I tried before this one bundled other items with their product or they simply wanted too much money. And let's face it, $1000+ for simply adding a few lines of text and/or a picture to all outgoing email is absurd. QS was $98 ... Bravo!
