DocKIT is a simple tool to overcome the cumbersome exercise of importing and migrating documents from multiple systems & sources - Microsoft Windows Shares & Microsoft Exchange Server Public Folders, into Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server. The major advantages are that it retains the existing NTFS/Public Folder permissions, automatically sets the documents to check-in/publish state, when moved to SharePoint and allows document migration into 'Standard' and 'Enhanced' folders in SharePoint workspaces. Among the key features are: Access to SharePoint Portal Servers from any remote system - creation of workspace from any remote system - auto detection of all SharePoint Portal and Exchange Servers in your network - importing to multiple destinations - file type filters and more.
