ChooseFrom

Exchange mailbox may have multiple SMTP addresses. For outgoing messages Exchange server always uses the primary SMTP address. For example, John Doe has a mailbox with john.doe@companya.com primary SMTP address and john.doe@companyb.com secondary smtp address. John Doe can easily receive the message addressed both to john.doe@companya.com and john.doe@companyb.com, but he can not send the message as john.doe@companyb.com because this behaviour is by design in Exchange server.
ChooseFrom for Exchange 2000/2003 application allows user to send message with any sender address (From: field) , including his/her additional SMTP addresses. Application is a transport event sink.

ChooseFrom/SmartReply/SmartFrom
by Steve Dickson,
Product Rating: 4/5
- We had a problem that I believe many people have with outlook/exchange, being that we have multiple domains and users needing EASY access to both. Choose from gave me the ability to choose which mail address I could access through the "Have replies sent to...." field. For more technical people, this alone gives you an acceptable result. For end users though, SmartFrom gives you the ability to address from your choice of smtp mail addresses. Smart Reply gave us another essential function, that being, being able to reply to a message with the confidence that the reply is coming from the same address that the original message was sent to.
Victor's products helped solve a nasty dilema for me, which was holding up a major project (as a successful outlook implmentation was an early milestone). The are not the nicest looking solutions but they are functional and Victor is helpful and responsive.
I did some Magic (if I don't say so myself) with forms that now (with ChooseFrom's backend) allow our users to send from the email address of their choice with the click of ONE button. If I get a chance, I'll post the details of the end result.
I gave this product a 4 rather than a 5 purely because, although functional, for a good "end-user" result like I was after still took a fair bit of cleaning up.
Still......very much recommended as a basis for handling multi domain email.
