Simply install the OLfolders-Server application at any computer in your network, and allow other workstations to access the data in real time. Depending on your configuration, even multiple OLfolders-Server can run at different computers and clients are able to access all of them.

With OLfolders, sharing Outlook contacts is as easy as sharing a network drive. You need at least two computers and a network between them.

Easy to install and easy to use

The shard folders are displayed in a separate tree in Outlook like a shared disk is shown as a separate tree in the Windows Explorer.

OLfolders works like sharing a network drive, Outlook connects to any amount of data within less then a second, displaying all data from the server. If the user opens any email, attachment, contact or any other object, the data is transferred to the client. While one client is modifying an element, it is write-protected for all other clients.

The server application does not need any configuration, it imports user accounts from Windows and automatically access all data files which are configured in Outlook, even in multiple profiles.

If only one email account is needed for all workstations, the shared folder can be used as the Outlook default folder allowing access to the same emails at more than one workstation. If an email is read, it will change to unread at all clients at the same time.

Optionally certain folders and elements can be read or write-protected for certain users or completely hidden. Access to shared folders work exactly the same as access to personal folders, all features of Outlook are available in shared folders.

Integrated Mail-Server.

OLfolders contains an integrated Mail-Server for internal and external mail extends with server side junk- and virus filter. It allows sending internal emails between clients without using the internet. The Mail-Server can deliver any incoming mails to a shared folder without the use of Outlook. Mails for info@, support@ etc. can be stored directly to any folder at the shared file and read by all users.

No conflicts are possible. Licenses

OLfolders requires one license code for each client which accessing the server at the same time. The server itself does not need a license code.
For example in order to share Outlook between five computers, you need four license code, because one of the two computers will act as the server.

If you have 5 computers and a dedicated server workstation, you will need 5 codes, one for each client.

You can install as many servers as you like and use the same license code for all servers.

For example if you have a network with 5 computers and additionally have 3 laptops, you are allowed to install the server part at each laptops, allowing the desktop to access the data from the laptop. However the laptop will require a separate license code if you want to access your server from both the laptop and the desktop at the same time.
