Visendo Mail Checker Server is designed to connect mailservers with external POP3 and IMAP4 accounts. Email servers like MS Exchange are not able to receive emails from external email accounts. Visendo MCS does it for them and additionally ensures a virus protection too. While processing the emails, it scans them for Viruses, Worms, Trojans and SPAM. Can be used to enable POP3 or IMAP4 receiving with MS Exchange. Visendo MCS works with every mailserver and can also be used as an SMTP filter proxy for incoming and outgoing emails. You can define several filters like black/whiteliste, bayesian filter, attachment filter and others. The bayesian filter is trained via the MS Outlook plugin. Visendo MCS works with POP3 and IMAP4 and also the secured versions of them SPOP and SIMAP. Administration is done via the MMC (local or remote). It runs as a NT service on Windows NT, 2000, XP and 2003 Server.
