Mimosa NearPoint for Microsoft Exchange Server is an information management solution for Microsoft Exchange. It unifies archival, eDiscovery or email discovery, fine-grained and immediate recovery, user self-service access to all historical e-mail, and storage management. The NearPoint software solution is comprised of Information Management (ILM), Email archiving, disaster recovery, data protection, and mailbox extension functions.

The Mimosa NearPoint software solution is based on Microsoft technologies, and runs on standard Windows Server hardware. It is an application-intelligent solution providing integration with Exchange and Outlook. NearPoint is disk-based and leverages commodity storage, such as SATA RAID, to provide data protection and archival of e-mail archiving from multiple Exchange servers.
